TPMS Reset Procedure

Before performing the re-learn procedure below, please review all data in your owner’s manual pertaining to your TPMS system.
 
 Make: Mercedes Benz Model: E-Class Sub-Model: All Base Year: 2012

No special tools are required for this operation

1. Ensure all tires are inflated to the pressure listed on the tire placard.
(Tire Pressure Placard can normally be found in the door jam of the drivers side door of the vehicle)


This is a sample tire pressure placard. Not for this specific vehicle.

2. Turn Ignition switch to the ON Position (Engine Off)

3. Press the Back Button, located on LH Side of steering wheel, until Trip/Odometer is displayed.

4. Press Menu Select Button to select the
Serv. Menu is displayed in the center of speedometer.

5. Press Sub Menu Select Button to select Tire Pressure

6. Press the OK Button.

7. Display should read "Tire Press, Monitor Activated, Tire Pressure to Display After a Few Minutes of Driving" Drive Vehicle for at least 10 minutes above 15 mph.

Relearn New Sensor ID’s

1. Ensure all tires are inflated to the pressure listed on the tire placard.
(Tire Pressure Placard can normally be found in the door jam of the drivers side door of the vehicle)

2. Vehicle must be driven for at least 10 minutes while maintaining speeds above 15 mph in order for the system to learn the new sensor id’s.
